# Add Asset Chain

### Mainnet <a href="#metamask" id="metamask"></a>

To add Asset Chain Mainnet as a custom network to MetaMask:

1. Open the MetaMask browser extension.
2. Open the network selection dropdown menu by clicking the dropdown button at the top of the extension.
3. Click the **Add network** button.
4. Click **Add a network manually**.
5. In the **Add a network manually** dialog that appears, enter the following information:

| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Network Name    | Asset Chain Mainnet                                                       |
| RPC Endpoint    | [https://mainnet-rpc.assetchain.org](https://mainnet-rpc.assetchain.org/) |
| Chain ID        | 42420                                                                     |
| Currency Symbol | RWA                                                                       |
| Block Explorer  | [https://scan.assetchain.org](https://scan.assetchain.org/)               |

You should now be able to connect to the Asset Chain Mainnet by selecting it from the network selection dropdown menu.

### Testnet <a href="#testnet" id="testnet"></a>

To add Asset Chain Testnet as a custom network to MetaMask:

1. Open the MetaMask browser extension.
2. Open the network selection dropdown menu by clicking the dropdown button at the top of the extension.
3. Click the **Add network** button.
4. Click **Add a network manually**.
5. In the **Add a network manually** dialog that appears, enter the following information:

| Network Name    | Asset Chain Testnet                                                         |
| RPC Endpoint    | <https://enugu-rpc.assetchain.org/>                                         |
| Chain ID        | 42421                                                                       |

| Block Explorer  | [https://scan-testnet.assetchain.org](https://scan-testnet.assetchain.org/) |

1. Tap the Save button to save Asset Chain as a network.

You should now be able to connect to the Asset Chain testnet, by selecting it from the network selection dropdown menu.
